These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Notes of Joy's Services and Website

Bookings and Cancellations:

The full fee is due once an invoice is generated and emailed post booking and must be paid within 30 days by the client.

Bookings are confirmed by verbal agreement or email and a confirmation email sent by us. Failure to respond to confirmation email does not constitute cancellation and all verbal agreements will remain in force. Cancellations must be done by email.

In the event of a cancellation by the client the following fee will be charged:

21+ days before the engagement date 0% of the remaining fee.

7 to 21 days before the engagement date 50% of the remaining fee.

Within 7 days of the engagement date 100% of the remaining fee.

 

Session Terms & Conditions:

Sessions are based on a 1 hour period and should not exceed 60 minutes. This includes introductions, getting to know participants and focussing on individual participants as well as group activity.

 

The Client must provide a suitable venue/location for sessions & the number of participants for sessions should be discussed prior to booking but should ideally be up to a maximum of 20 participants to ensure a good group dynamic.

 

Clients are both encouraged and welcome to have input in session content but NoJ will not learn new repertoire unless agreed to prior to booking and within a reasonable time period.

 

NoJ require a member of staff/representative of the client to be present at all stages of sessions to ensure safeguarding for participants and help with crowd control and any behavioural issues of participants.

 

NoJ reserve the right to ask for participants exhibiting extreme/aggressive/dangerous behaviours to be removed in the interest of safety and fun for all.

 

Sessions should not be ticketed or be charging participants directly for NoJ without prior discussion with NoJ musical director.

 

Clients should be able to provide policies pertaining to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults and NoJ will adhere to these policies.

 

NoJ will not take Photos or Videos of sessions without seeking relevant permissions from the client & participants. Clients are welcome to make/use footage but should discuss with us and Link where possible.

 

NoJ will provide Public Liability Insurance (£1,000,000) and a DBS check upon request.

 

Should NoJ need to cancel a session due to illness or extreme weather conditions they will make every effort to reschedule in good time. NoJ will not be liable for compensation in such circumstances.
